UN Sustainable Development Goals
Biography
Ebru Demir works as a Lecturer (since March 2020) and as Vice Dean (since 4 May 2026) at the Faculty of Law at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University.
She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Sussex School of Law (UK) and a master’s degree in International Law from the University of Nottingham School of Law (UK).
She previously completed a BA in Political Science at Istanbul University and earned her second master's degree in Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University.
From September 2023 to September 2024, she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Law of Aarhus University (Denmark), funded by the Research Council of Türkiye, where she conducted research on the relationship between human rights and climate change.
She has published with reputable publishers such as Routledge, Edward Elgar, and Intersentia, and has taught in the fields of international law, human rights, and climate change.
