Özet

Climate change represents not just an environmental issue, but a complex global challenge that requires international cooperation. The causes and effects of climate change vary across countries and make state-to-state collaboration crucial. Particularly, the cooperation between developed and developing countries plays a vital role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving sustainable development goals. In this context, institutions like the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have contributed significantly to the development of international environmental law and have led the way in providing scientific data to policymakers and fostered global solutions. However, international cooperation is not only a theoretical necessity but also an area of significant importance concerning international security and economic interests. Effective collaboration requires a more balanced and inclusive approach between developed and developing countries. This article argues that stronger leadership and greater cooperation at the global level are required to combat climate change.
