I received my Ph.D. degree from the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK, and obtained my B.Sc. (in Electrical&Electronics Engineering) and M.Sc. (in Electronics&Communication Engineering) from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Turkey and Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Turkey, in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
Currently, I’m working as an Assistant Professor of Telecommunications for Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, where I previously worked as a Lecturer between 2020 and 2021, and as a Research Assistant between 2013 and 2016. My research interests focus on Self Organising Networks (SON), machine learning, cellular networks (4G and 5G), and IoT networks.
During my PhD, I also worked as a part-time project researcher for University of Jyväskylä, Finland in 2018.
I have several journal and conference publications, and we have received Workshop Best Paper Award in IEEE WCNC 2019 (DOI: 10.1109/WCNCW.2019.8902854). Moreover, I have been serving as an academic reviewer for various high-class journals and conferences, such as IEEE JSAC and IEEE Internet of Things Journal to name a few, and conducting some other academic duties including TPC member, session chair, etc.
I am happily married and have one lovely kid.
