Biography
Dr. Bakla is a lecturer at the Department of Translation and Interepretation Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. He is the head of the Department of Translation and Interpretation and Department of Linguistics. He holds a PhD degree in ELT. Among his main research interests are CALL, LMSs and feedback in L2 writing. He has published in major international journals, including Language Learning & Technology, ReCALL, Computers & Education, Qualitative Research and Instructional Science. He has translated various academic works into Turkish, including a book about CAQDAS (Computer-Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis). He is the author of the book Putting Pen to Paper: Academic Writing.
