Biography
He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, Ankara, and Kastamonu. He attended Imam Hatip High School in Ankara and Çankırı, graduating in 1992. That same year, he was admitted to the Faculty of Theology at Ankara University. He completed his master's degree at Ankara University's Institute of Social Sciences in 2001. He completed his doctorate at the same institute in 2011. He served in various positions at the Presidency of Religious Affairs between 1994 and 2017. He is the father of three children and speaks Arabic and English.
