Asst. Prof. BURCU TÜRKMEN

Burcu TÜRKMEN has BA in English Language and Literature from Near East University, MA in Translation Studies from Atılım University and PhD in Translation Studies from Sakarya University. She worked as a sworn translator in Ankara between 2011-2013. In 2013, she began working as a lecturer at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Çaycuma Vocational School of Applied English and Translation and Interpreting Program. In 2021, she began working as a Dr Lecturer in the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University as an Assistant Professor and still continues to work in this department. Research interests: translation technologies, translation education, media and translation, digital media competence in translation education, post-editing in translation and using educational technologies in translation education.
