Asst. Prof. TANER AŞÇI

Taner AŞÇI completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Faculty of Industrial Arts Education, Department of Industrial Technology. After completing his master's and doctorate studies at Gazi University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Industrial Technology,  he worked in many positions in public institutions.  He did an internship in the field of solar energy systems design in Seville, Spain, and was involved in many overseas education activities and Erasmus + studies. He joined the academy in 2021 after 16 years of experience, mainly in design education, high-budget international projects and collaborations. He currently works as a Lecturer at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Industrial Design.

Taner AŞÇI focuses on research on ergonomic approaches in the design of equipments used especially in educational institutions, protection of designs and intellectual property, material selection and testing methods in the design. He is currently working on the use of traditional patterns in product design.
