Prof. SALİM PİLAV

He was born in Yapraklı district of Çankırı. He completed their primary education in their birthplace and continued their middle school and high school education in Kırıkkale. In 1990, he entered the Turkish Language and Literature Education Department at Gazi University's Faculty of Education and graduated from this department in 1994.

From 1994 to 1998, he worked as a Turkish Language and Literature teacher in various cities under the Ministry of National Education. In 1998, he started working as an Assistant Professor at Kastamonu Faculty of Education at Gazi University. He completed their Master's degree in Modern Turkish Literature in 2002 and their Ph.D. in Turkish Language and Literature Education in 2008 at Gazi University.

From 2009 to 2011, he served as an Assistant Professor at Çankırı Karatekin University. In 2011, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Kırıkkale University. Between 2011 and 2017, he held various administrative positions at Kırıkkale University, including Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Sciences and Head of the Turkish Language Education Department.

From 2018, he held the title of Associate Professor in the field of Turkish Language and Literature Education. In January 2023, he was appointed as an Associate Professor at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. In February 2024, he became a Professor in the same department.
