Asst. Prof. SİBEL PEKSOY KAYA

She graduated from Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Master's Program in 2011. She received her doctoral degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Doctorate Program from Hacettepe University in 2018. She was granted the title of doctor with her thesis on "Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Nursing Interventions in the Management of Postpartum Hemorrhage in the Perinatal Period". She worked at the Social Insurance Institution Ankara Etlik Maternity Training and Research Hospital between 2001-2005, and at the Ministry of Health Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Gynecology Training and Research Hospital between 2005-2013. At the same time, between 2010 and 2011, she was assigned as a founding team member of the "171 Tobacco Quit Line" within the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Primary Health Care, Department of Combating Tobacco and Other Addictive Substances. Between 2013 and 2021, she worked as a research assistant at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Since 2021, she has been working as a faculty member and Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Since 2024, she has been serving as Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Health Sciences.
