Assoc. Prof. REŞAT ŞAKAR

Dr. Reşat ŞAKAR was born in 1984 in Pasinler district of Erzurum. He attended primary and secondary school in the district where he was born. He completed his high school education at Erzurum High School (Foreign Language Focus). In 2010, he received his undergraduate education at the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Istanbul University, and in the same year, he won the scholarship for postgraduate education abroad opened by the Ministry of National Education within the scope of Law No. 1416, and started his master's degree in the Russian Language department of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Philology, on behalf of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2011. In 2013, he completed his master's degree with the thesis titled "Functional-Semantic Field of Biological Sex in the System Where Artistic Symbol is the Means of Expression (in Russian Symbolist Prose Works) he prepared under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Evgeniy Klobukov, and in 2017, he completed his doctorate degree at the same university with the same advisor. He completed his doctorate by defending his doctoral thesis titled "The Structure of the Liveliness Word-Making Field in the Modern Russian Language". In the same year, he studied at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2021. He founded the International Journal of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies (UDEKAD) in 2018 and is currently ranked by various international indexes. He continues his publishing life as the editor-in-chief of the scanned journal. In 2020, he founded a journal in the field of social sciences called Külliye within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, where he worked for three years as the chief editor of the journal, which was successful in entering various international indexes. He has articles, proceedings, books and book chapters in the fields of Russian language morphology, word formation, comparative language and cultur studies.
