Lect. PhD ÖYKÜ ŞAFAK ÇUBUKÇU

She received her BSc. degree from the Department of International Relations, and her MSc. degree from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, at the Middle East Technical University, Turkey. She finished her PhD in Politics, at the University of York, UK, with her thesis titled “Agrarian Transformation in Contemporary Turkey”. She is currently working as a Lecturer at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Turkey. She has taught several undergraduate courses including History of Civilizations, Sociology, Political Economy, Gender and Politics, Political Sociology, Introduction to Social Sciences, Political Economy in Türkiye. Her research interests include political economy, rural development, agrarian change, and gender.
