Biography

Dr. Nur Elibol Pekaslan completed her undergraduate education at METU Department of Psychology in 2012. She completed her master's degree in 2014 and her Ph.D. in 2019 in the Developmental Psychology Program at METU. She worked as a research assistant at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Psychology between 2013 and 2021, and has been working as an Assist. Prof.  since 2021. She worked as a visiting researcher at Cornell University in the 2021-2022 academic year within the scope of the Fulbright Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. Her research interests include autobiographical memory development in cultural context, emotion regulation development, and the functions of autobiographical memories.
