Biography
Müge Akbulut is a faculty member at the Department of Information Management at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. She conducts research on information retrieval and bibliometrics. Akbulut holds the title of a Google-certified developer and has previously worked in the software departments of Informascope, Mikro Bilgi (now known as Online Bilgi), and ANKAREF. She serves as the Turkish editor of ELIS (E-prints in Library and Information Science) and the editor of Türk Kütüphaneciliği, the journal published by the Turkish Librarians’ Association (TKD). Additionally, she co-chairs the European Student Chapter of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T). She completed her undergraduate studies in Information Management at Hacettepe University and IVA - Royal School of Library & Information Science (as part of the Erasmus exchange program).
