Asst. Prof. İPEK METE TÖNGE

Dr. İpek Mete Tönge is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Business School, Turkey. She earned her PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2020, which included a year as a visiting researcher at the University of South Florida. She also holds an MBA (2013) from METU and a BSc (2005) in Business Administration from Bilkent University.

Her current research agenda explores the evolving "human-digital" interface within modern organizations and how technology reshapes the psychological factors influencing employee experience in automated environments. Additionally, her research interests include team dynamics, training and development in teams, and team performance assessment.

Dr. Mete Tönge maintains an extensive teaching portfolio at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Communication, Performance and Compensation Management and Human Resource Planning and Development.
