Biography
Dr. İlyas Balcı graduated from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Hacettepe University in 2017. He was appointed as Research Assistant at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2018. He received his Master’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the same university in 2020 with his thesis titled “The Effects of the USD Use on Global Politics.” In 2025, he completed his PhD with the dissertation titled “Initiatives for Alternative Payment Instruments Against Global Hegemony in the Context of Power Transition Theory: BRICS Countries.” His research focuses on the field of International Political Economy. He is proficient in English.
