Res. Asst. HASAN SELEK

He was born in Şuhut district of Afyonkarahisar. He graduated from Şuhut Anatolian Imam Hatip High School (2013) and Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Theology (2018). He won the competition exam for the Assistant Specialist of the Supreme Board of Religious Affairs (2019). He started working as a research assistant at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Department of Islamic Law (2019). He completed his master's degree with his study titled Differences of Preference in Mütûn-i Erbaa (Basic Worship) (2020). In the same year, he started his doctoral studies at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. He continues his studies on classical Hanafi usul and fürû' thought, the tradition of ihtisar and commentary, and Ottoman classical period Hidâye commentaries and glosses. He is married and has two children.
