Prof. HACI MUSTAFA ERAVCI

H.Mustafa Eravci was born in Konya, Turkey in 1965.  He received his BA in 1988 and MA in 1992 from  the University of Selcuk ,Konya, Turkey.  He finished  Phd  thesis at   Edinburgh University in 1999, which is called   Ottoman-Safavi Conflict.  After  Which  he  worked  as lecturer in  the  History  Department  at   the University  of  Afyon Kocatepe and Karamanoğlu  Mehmed Bey   among  2000-2011years. Moreover  he worked as quest  academic persons  at the University of  Manchester.  Now he is professor at the  University of  Yıldırım Beyazit in Ankara .  During  his academic life He has written several articles on  the history, policy and  foreign policy of Ottoman, Iran and    Caucasia. Moreover  he prepared  “Ahilik Ansiklopedia”   and  organized   symposium, which is called “ “International  Syria  Symposium” .

Mr Eravci,  has taken  over  management  role in USDAD and  ULİSAM,  moreover, wrote  article  about history, policy and foreign policy  at several  national  news paper . Still he has taken  head  of  department of   Orienten studies in Yıldırım Beyazit Üniversty..  Prof..Dr. Eravci,  is married and has  there children,  can use  English , Arabic and  Persian Langue  in  advance and intermediate level  Bu süreçte   Osmanlı, İran, Kafkasya tarihi, siyaseti ve dış politikasını işleyen Türkçe ve İngilizce makaleler  ve kitaplar yayınladı. Ayrıca  Gümrük Bakanlığı ile ortak proje yürüterek  “ Ahilik Ansiklopedisini”  yayınladı.  2015 yılında ise  “Uluslararası Suriye Sempozyumunu” düzenledi.

ULİSAM ve USDAD da idari  görev alan  Eravcı,  ayrıca ulusal ve yerel yazılı basında  tarih, siyaset ve dış politika konularında köşe yazıları da yazdı. Halen Yıldıırm Beyazit Üniversitesinde   Şarkiyat Araştırmaları  bölüm başkanlığı görevini yürütmektedir. Prof.Dr. Eravcı, evli ve üç çocuk babası olup, iyi derecede  İngilizce ve orta seviyede  Arapça ile Farsça  bilmektedir.
