Biography
Hatem Ete obtained his bachelor's degree in 1999, followed by his master's degree in 2002, and finally his PhD degree in 2012, all from the Department of Sociology at METU.
In 2007-2008, he pursued his doctoral study at Columbia University with a grant.
From 2008 to 2014, he held the position of Director of Political Research at SETA. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2018, he served as the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister. Starting from 2018, he has held a position as a faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in the Department of Sociology.
He possesses extensive scholarly expertise in various fields including Turkey's political landscape, political parties, identity politics, social movements, elections, and voter behaviour.
