Asst. Prof. FATMA UYSAL

Biography

Asst. Prof. Fatma Uysal graduated with a bachelor's degree from Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy in 2012. She completed an integrated PhD program in medical pharmacology at the Institute of Health Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, in 2022. She started working as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, in 2020 and continued in this role until 2023. Currently, she continues to work as an Assistant Professor at the same faculty.

Dr. Uysal's research areas include pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and medical pharmacology with a particular focus on asthma pathophysiology, inflammatory mechanisms, and the cannabinoid system. She has numerous publications in SCIE and other indexed journals and has presented at various national and international conferences.
