Biography

She received her undergraduate degree from Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History and Geography, Department of English Language and Literature, and her master's degree from Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. She received her doctoral degree with her thesis titled "An Analysis of the Translated Works from English by Mîna Urgan in the Context of the "Translator's Visibility". She translated, The Gate of the Sun, Memories of Chekhov, The Agony and The Ecstasy books into Turkish. She studies literary translation, translation theories, translator's visibility, oral composition theory.
