Dr. Elif Ercan graduated from the Department of Genetics at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg in 2009. Between 2004 and 2005, she attended German language courses at the University of Vienna. She completed her master’s degree in the Cancer Biology Master’s Program with Thesis at the Institute of Health Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, in 2016, and received her Ph.D. from the same program in 2023.
She currently serves as a Ph.D. Research Assistant in the Department of Medical Biology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Her research interests include cancer biology, medical biology, molecular biology, cell culture, in vitro cytotoxicity analyses, IC50 calculations, apoptosis, autophagy, necrosis, oxidative stress, hypoxia, and the investigation of the anticancer effects of natural and chemical compounds.
