In 1999, she graduated from Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Arabic Language Teaching Department. After graduation, she worked as a translator at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait Military Attaché's Office in Ankara between 1999-2007. Between 2008-2015, she worked as a translator at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia Military Attaché's Office in Ankara. In 2022, she completed her master's thesis in the field of Arabic Language and Rhetoric at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Social Sciences Institute with her thesis titled "An Analysis of the Academic Arabic Language Teaching Set in Terms of Four Basic Language Skills". She continues her doctoral studies at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Social Sciences Institute with her thesis titled "Baha Tahir's Novelist Personality and Analysis of his Novel Named Vâhatu'l-Gurûb". Demet ÇELİK KUL, who started working as a lecturer at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Theology in February 2015, still continues to work at the same faculty.
