Biography

I am Dr. Ceren Kaya, a research assistant in the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU), Türkiye. I received my bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Middle East Technical University (METU), followed by a master's degree in European Studies, also at METU. I completed my Ph.D. in International Relations at the Graduate School of Social Sciences at AYBU.

My academic research primarily focuses on Turkey-EU relations, European Studies, the EU’s security and foreign policy, as well as border management and migration policy within the EU framework.
