Assoc. Prof. BURHAN GÜNAY

Burhan GÜNAY was born on January 1, 1988, in the Tirebolu district of Giresun province. He completed his primary education at Sakarya Primary School in 1999, followed by Cumhuriyet Middle School in 2002 and Giresun Anatolian High School in 2006. He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2010. In 2013, he completed his Master’s degree with a thesis at Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration. The same year, he started his Ph.D. program in the Department of Business Administration at the same university. In 2013, he also began working as a Lecturer at Aksaray University, Şereflikoçhisar Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School. During his tenure, he held positions as Deputy Director and Head of Departments.

Due to the transfer of the institution to Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2018, he continued to serve as Deputy Director and Acting Head of the Department of Management and Organization in the same institution. In 2023, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor and started working at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Şereflikoçhisar Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Finance and Banking. Since 2024, he has been serving as the Acting Director of AYBÜ Şereflikoçhisar Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School. Additionally, he continues his role as the Coordinator of the ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) in Şereflikoçhisar, Ankara.

GÜNAY is married with two children and has an intermediate level of English proficiency.
