Assoc. Prof. BİLGE CANBALOĞLU

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilge Canbaloğlu received her bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Middle East Technical University in 2008 and her master’s degree in Business Administration from the same university in 2011. She earned her Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2016 and conducted postdoctoral research at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno, in 2018.

She began her academic career as a research assistant at Başkent University, Department of Statistics and Computer Sciences, and currently serves as a faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Business, Department of International Trade and Business. She teaches undergraduate, graduate courses in financial economics, international economics, investment analysis, risk management, financial markets, and sustainable finance.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Canbaloğlu’s research interests include financial economics, monetary policy, financial stability, capital markets and corporate finance. She has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals indexed in SSCI and TR Dizin, as well as several book chapters published by international publishers and numerous conference papers presented at international scientific meetings.

In addition to her research productivity, she has supervised master’s theses and provided academic guidance to students at various levels.
