Biography

She graduated from the Nursing Department of Gazi University in 2014. She received her master's degree in Public Health Nursing from the Department of Nursing at Gazi University in 2019 and her doctorate in 2023. She worked as a research assistant at the institution between 2017 and 2024. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor since 2025, Ayşegül Akca has been involved in various projects and has national and international studies in the fields of health literacy interventions, disaster nursing, cyberbullying, smartphone addiction, cyberchondria, screen exposure, traditional children's games, and school health nursing.
