Dr. Adisa Avdić Küsmüş is an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Relations, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. She holds a PhD in International and Security Studies from Metropolitan University in Prague, where she specialized in post-conflict peacebuilding and reconciliation processes in the Western Balkans. Her research interests include peacebuilding, transitional justice, memory politics, and post-war state-building, with a particular focus on Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has conducted extensive fieldwork in post-war societies, exploring the intersections between international intervention, local agency, and societal transformation. In addition to her work on reconciliation and memory, Dr. Avdić also examines Turkish cultural diplomacy and its role in shaping regional relations and soft power in the Western Balkans. Her publications contribute to interdisciplinary debates on post-conflict governance, international supervision, and the ethics of reconstruction in divided societies.
