Biography
Dr. Hamza Çorum, born in 1995 in Beyşehir, Konya, graduated from Beyşehir Anatolian Teacher Training High School in 2013 and from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Law, in 2018. In the same year, he was awarded the Türkiye Ministry of National Education YLSY scholarship and pursued his postgraduate studies abroad within this framework.
At Swansea University, he completed his master’s degree in 2020 and, in 2025, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation entitled The International Legal Framework Applicable to Unmanned Ships: Is it Fit for Purpose?During his master’s and doctoral studies, he conducted research in the fields of international law of the sea, carriage of goods by sea, land and air, marine insurance law, maritime security law, and maritime energy law.
In July 2025, he was appointed as Lecturer at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Law, where he currently serves.
