Biography
Bilge Metin Tekin received her Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching from Gazi University, her Master's degree in Foreign Language Education from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, and her Ph.D. in Translation and Cultural Studies (English) from Gazi University. From 2006 to 2025, she worked in the Preparatory Programs of various state universities. In 2025, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, where she currently continues her academic work. Her research interests include song translation, literary translation, translation pedagogy, and machine translation.
