Res. Asst. AHMET YALÇIN

I was born in Acıpayam district of Denizli in 2000. I came to my hometown of Burdur for primary school. After continuing my education here until the end of my secondary school years, I completed the first two years of my undergraduate education at Anadolu University and the last two years at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in the Primary Education Mathematics Teaching department, graduating in 2022. Due to my desire to conduct academic research and produce projects, I aimed for an academic career instead of teaching, despite achieving a sufficient score in the KPSS in 2022. Accordingly, I entered the Master's programme in the Mathematics Department at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University with top marks. During my master's degree, while understanding the theoretical structure of mathematics and statistics, I also focused on data science and artificial intelligence from a ‘mathematician's perspective’. Throughout my career, I have gained significant experience in both academic and industrial fields. While pursuing my Master's degree, I worked as a long-term Data Science and R&D Intern at HangiKredi Fintek Company in 2023. In the final month of my internship, I accepted an offer from Finekra and worked there as a data scientist for approximately 1.5 years, where I had the opportunity to manage the artificial intelligence process for a TEYDEB project. Since April 2025, I have been actively involved in academia. I continue my work in the field of artificial intelligence under the umbrella of academia.
