Assoc. Prof. GALİP AFŞIN RAVANOĞLU

Born in Ankara in 1983, he graduated from the Department of International Relations and Political Science at Selçuk University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in 2007. He completed his master's degree in Economics at the Institute of Social Sciences at Kyrgyzstan Türkiye Manas University, in 2010. In 2016, he completed his doctorate in Economics at Kyrgyzstan Türkiye Manas University, and earned his doctorate.

He worked as a Research Assistant at Kyrgyzstan Türkiye Manas University, between 2008 and 2016. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the same university between 2016 and 2018. In 2018, he began working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. In 2025, he began working in the Department of International Trade and Logistics at the Şereflikoçhisar Faculty of Applied Sciences at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University.

His research focuses on energy, economic growth, remittances, and the Turkistan.

He is fluent in Russian, English, and Kyrgyz.
