Prof. HÜSEYİN DEMİREL

Prof. Dr. Hüseyin DEMİREL was born in 1975 in Aşağıyurtçu village of Etimesgut district, Ankara. He completed his primary education in his village, his secondary education at Emirler Secondary School in Etimesgut, and his high school education at Balgat Technical High School. In 1997, he graduated from the Department of Electronics-Computer Education at Gazi University, Faculty of Technical Education. He began his academic career in 1998 as a research assistant in the same department. He earned his master’s degree from Gazi University Institute of Science in 1999 and his Ph.D. from Gazi University Institute of Informatics in 2010. After serving eight years as a research assistant in the Electronics-Computer Department at Gazi University Faculty of Technical Education, he was appointed as a lecturer at Zonguldak Karaelmas University in 2005. Following the establishment of Karabük University in 2007, he continued his career at the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering. In September 2023, he joined Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Management Information Systems, as a faculty member. In March 2025, he was promoted to the rank of Professor and currently serves as the Head of the Management Information Systems Department. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin DEMİREL has numerous national and international publications and books in the fields of electronics, computer systems, information systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He continues to teach and conduct research on digital electronics, microcontroller-based systems, IoT applications, and informatics education.
