Assoc. Prof. MEHMET DOĞAN

Biography

He was born in Simav, Kütahya. He attended primary school in Kızılcık Village, completed his middle and high school education in Istanbul. In 1995, he obtained his bachelor's degree in History from the Middle East Technical University. In 1999, he completed his master's degree in History at Hacettepe University, Institute of Social Sciences. In 2006, he received his Ph.D. in History from Hacettepe University, Institute of Social Sciences. He is married and has two children. He served as the Vice-Chair of the History Department at Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Literature and as the Assistant Director of the Turkish Studies Institute at Çankırı Karatekin University from 2009 to 2011. He worked as the Assistant Director of the Institute of Social Sciences at Kırıkkale University. Currently, he serves as a faculty member in the Department of History at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
