Asst. Prof. ŞAHİN ERAY KIRDIM

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Kırdım completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) programs in International Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in the United States, earning the title of Doctor of Law. Since 2023, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations. Kırdım’s research interests primarily focus on the use of force in international law, customary international law, and the authority of United Nations organs under international law. He has published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals, as well as books published by international publishing houses on these topics. His foreign language is English.
