Asst. Prof. MEHMET DELEN

Biography

I work as an Assistant Professor in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. I graduated from Hacettepe University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation BSc Program in 2014 and completed MSc at Gazi University in 2016. In this year, I also received >£200K PhD scholarship by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education for PhD education in the UK.

I commenced my PhD in 2017 in the tendon research group of Sports and Exercise Medicine Department at Queen Mary University of London, and completed my PhD project on outcome predictors for recovery of rotator cuff tendinopathy in 2022. I have worked QMUL biomechanics laboratory for four years and can conduct kinematic analysis on MATLAB.

I am interested in shoulder rehabilitation, epidemiology, shoulder biomechanics and recovery.
