Asst. Prof. ÖZGE ÖZTÜRK AKTAŞ

She completed her specialty training in Chest Diseases at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, she served as a visiting clinician at the Cleveland Clinic’s Respiratory Institute, Medical Intensive Care Unit, USA, supported by a Hacettepe University scientific research project (BAP). In 2015, she earned the European Diploma in Chest Diseases through the HERMES exam conducted by the European Respiratory Society (ERS) in Amsterdam. From 2015 to 2018, she pursued subspecialty training in Immunology and Allergy Diseases at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. In 2019, she successfully passed the EAACI/UEMS exam in Lisbon, obtaining a European Diploma in Allergy and Immunology. Between 2023 and 2024, she engaged in translational research focused on allergen immunotherapy tolerance mechanisms with the Immunomodulation and Tolerance Group at Imperial College London. Additionally, she gained clinical observation experience in clinical allergy at the Asthma & Allergy Clinic of the Royal Brompton Hospital and in immunodeficiencies at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
