Assoc. Prof. YAŞAR TOKAY

I was born on March 18, 1987 in Ankara. I completed primary, secondary and high school in Ankara. In 2005, I got into Erciyes University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. I graduated from the same department in 2009. In 2009, I started my master's degree at Erciyes University, Institute of Social Sciences. In 2011, I qualified to become a Turkish Language Specialist with the study titled "Comparison of the Vocabulary of Bengü Taşları and the Vocabulary of Anatolian Dialects" under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali CİN at Akdeniz University. In 2012, I started my PhD at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. In 2017, I received my doctorate with the study titled "Kitabu Gülistan bi't-Türki in Terms of Semantics" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Funda TOPRAK. I was entitled to use the title of Assistant Professor in 2020, and Associate Professor in 2022. I am still working as a faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature.
