Özet:
Solid oxide fuel cells (KOYP), are high efficient energy conversion systems utiliting hydrogen, natural gas, propane, diesel etc. as a fuel with the help of an oxidizer that convert chemical energy directly into electricity and heat energy. Although energy efficiency is high, KOYPs are facing with major problems in the way of commercialization such as long-term stability, production cost and high operating temperatures. In this thesis, it is aimed to increase the cell performance and to decrease the working temperature (600-800°C). ScSZ as electrolyte material and GDC with low temperature microstructural stability in electrodes are used. The performance analyzes of 1 cm2 anode supported KOYP prepared by following the methods in the literature are examined and a power density of 800 mW / cm2 was obtained at 800 °C.
