Özet
Box–Cox transformation method is a widely used solution when essential assumptions, such as normality and homogeneity, are not met in parametric statistical analyses. However, applying the Box–Cox power transformation requires estimating the transformation parameter. This study introduces an R package, AID, and a user-friendly web-based tool, enabling researchers to apply Box–Cox transformation and estimate the transformation parameter using the new improved methodologies. The package also provides the opportunity to evaluate the success of the transformation through tests and graphical outputs. Additionally, it calculates means and confidence intervals for back-transformed data, enabling to draw meaningful conclusions. Notably, the package’s web-based application allows researchers to access these features without the need for specialized programming knowledge (e.g. R), making it an accessible and user-friendly tool.
