Abstract

The aim of this study is to obtain information about the damage location and depth on the cracked beams. For this purpose, the vibrations due to impact shock are analyzed. The signal obtained from the defective and nondefective beams are compared both in time and frequency domain. By using these results, the location and depth of a defect can be determined from vibration signals
