Abstract
We have reported a patient with aortopulmonary window (APW) simulating truncus. In classically defined APW, aorta and main pulmonary artery separate again after a distance from the window and form the aortic arch and pulmonary arteries. However, in our case, there was no separation and they formed a very large pouch from which the great vessels originated. Thus, we believe that we have presented the first case of APW simulating truncus, but with two separate semilunar valves. © Springer Science+Business Media, Inc. 2005.
