Özet
The challenge of comprehending and assessing governance systems, particularly in the context of agrarian governance, remains a prominent issue in both academic and practical spheres. Nevertheless, there exists a significant divergence in how governance is understood among scholars, practitioners, and official documents. It can be associated with high-level management, governmental agencies, or even transcend government entities. Sometimes, it is used interchangeably with the term "Management," while in other cases, it encompasses various modes. In this book endeavors to employ an interdisciplinary approach drawing from the New Institutional Economics to establish a comprehensive framework for analyzing the agrarian governance system in Bulgaria. Drawing on prior research and practical insights, it underscores the complexity of agrarian governance, encompassing four principal components: the agrarian and associated agents making management decisions, the rules and mechanisms governing their behavior, the processes related to governing decisions, and the resulting social order within the system.
