Özet

The global energy paradigm shift, driven by the imperatives of climate change and energy security, necessitates the adoption of circular economy principles within solar energy supply chains. This study transcends the conventional discourse on the circular economy, which is often limited to technical solutions, to demonstrate how a supply chain designed on cradle to cradle principles can achieve poverty alleviation. To analyze the complex dynamics of this system, this paper develops a system dynamics model grounded in a theoretical synthesis of Stakeholder Theory, Natural Resource Dependence Theory (NRDT), and the Co-Benefit Theory. A conceptual framework, visualized through Causal Loop Diagrams (CLDs), forms the foundation of a quantitative stock and flow model, which is calibrated using empirical data and industry literature. Findings from the scenario analyses demonstrate that a circular solar photovoltaic supply chain quantitatively outperforms its linear counterpart in terms of increasing raw material recovery, enhancing energy access, and significantly reducing the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI). By operationalizing a novel theoretical synthesis, this study provides a strategic guide for policymakers and industry leaders. It demonstrates a synergistic pathway toward achieving measurable progress on several Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 1, 7, 9, 12, and 13.
