Abstract

The importance of technology is also crucial for financial transactions due to its risk, time, and cost efficiency. The use of Financial Technologies (FinTech) in Supply Chain Finance (SCF) is not a new phenomenon however it gained popularity over the last few decades and has brought radical changes in supply chain management. In this context, this study aims to examine the role of Fintech in SCF by conducting a deep examination of the studies published in 2018 and 2023. Only peer-reviewed articles were included in this study to increase the reliability of this study. The study analyzes the current state of the literature and the latest developments to identify possible future research areas for financial technology use in the supply chain. Based on the literature, it can be generated that human factors are still affecting the efficiency of Fintech operations. It is crucial for the sustainable development of organizations. It is efficient for banks, organizations, and individuals. It has a great potential to increase the financial inclusion of individuals, organizations, and regions. Most of the studies indicate the positive contribution of fintech to supply chain finance.
