Özet
This chapter examines how artificial intelligence transforms teaching and professional roles in private language schools, emphasizing the reskilling of educators as a complex, ongoing process. Moving beyond technical competence, reskilling involves reflection, identity reconstruction, and negotiation of agency within fluctuating institutional contexts. Drawing on Organizational Learning Theory and the scholarship on teachers’ professional identity, the chapter conceptualizes adaptation as both individual and collective. It highlights emotional and relational dimensions, acknowledging resistance, ambivalence, and the tension between efficiency and humanistic values. Leadership and organizational culture are crucial for fostering trust, experimentation, and continuous learning. By framing reskilling as the interplay between identity reconstruction and organizational learning, the chapter presents educators as adaptive professionals navigating AI-driven pedagogical and institutional change, with implications for workforce development beyond education.
