Today's society has turned to renewable energy sources, especially solar energy, as a result of increasing energy demand and the
climate crisis. Given their potential to provide energy independence, off-grid solar systems represent an important area of research
in this context. Off-grid systems generate and store energy independently from the power grid, allowing energy to be supplied to
often isolated and hard-to-reach locations. This study investigates the small-scale performance analysis and experimental results of
off-grid solar energy systems. The research was carried out on a renewable energy set consisting of 10 Wp photovoltaic panels in the
Energy Systems Engineering laboratory of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Experiments were carried out and analyses were
performed at different panel angles and light intensities in AC and DC connected systems. The results obtained were statistically
analyzed by ANOVA test. It is observed that DC connections are directly affected by the changes in the panel, but AC connections do
not interrupt the consumer thanks to the use of batteries.
