Attendees will explore a UDL-driven storytelling framework, including strategies to design narrative projects that are inherently accessible and emotionally resonant. Learn to integrate persona design, multimodal storyboarding, and ethical representation to craft content that engages a wider range of learners without requiring advanced technical skills. This framework centers the perspectives of diverse learners, including those from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds. We will examine how applying UDL to storytelling can reshape narrative inclusion, guiding participants to craft content that reflects a wider spectrum of human experience and voice. Our session demonstrates how to Ensure Opportunity (Nurture) by embedding Universal Design for Learning into the creative process, systematically removing barriers to access. We then show how to Prioritize Authentic Experiences (Empower) by structuring projects where students create narrative artifacts for real, diverse audiences, making learning personally meaningful and impactful.
