Özet
Aeroelastic flutter limits the flight envelope of high-speed aircraft and missiles, so reliable suppression is important for safe operation. Active flutter control is commonly used to increase damping and to shift the stability boundary. In practice, actuators have saturation and rate limits, and neglecting these limits may not match practical actuator behavior in closed-loop. In this study, active flutter suppression (AFS) on the NASA Benchmark Active Controls Technology (BACT) model is evaluated using a baseline controller and a safety filter based on Control Lyapunov Function (CLF), Control Barrier Function (CBF), and quadratic programming (QP). The aeroelastic model is checked using an open-loop eigenvalue sweep and a frequency response function comparison with published BACT data. The baseline controller increases the stability boundary by about 1.86 times under the tested conditions, but its performance degrades as the actuator rate limit is reduced. With the CLF-CBF-QP approach, stable operation is maintained with about a 25% lower rate-limit requirement compared with the baseline case. These results show that constraint-consistent command generation improves performance under rate limits. It supports more reliable flutter suppression with realistic actuator constraints.
