In this study, the economic analysis of a wind turbine installation in a village farm is considered. Namely, in a ten years’ interval of time, based on the total energy consumptions of the farm, it was demonstrated that in the case of wind turbine installation, whole energy consumption of the village farm could be fulfilled by the wind turbine plus the generated excess energy could be sold to the electricity distribution companies, thus in this way, it was exhibited that a significant profit could be obtained. The financial analysis was actualized depending on the net present value (NPV) method. According to this method, it has been shown that a significant amount of money can be saved over a period of 10 years, by installing a 50 kW rated power wind turbine on this site, at a certain cost, compared to the non-installed situation. In this regards, with the utilization of 11 different types of devices, while the financial payments considering the installation of wind turbine only corresponds to 276,560.73 TL in operation of the devices; the financial payments considering the non-installation of wind turbine corresponds 101,463.25 TL higher corresponding to 378,023.98 TL in operation of the devices. Therefore, it is advised to implement such a method of renewable power generation that will bring the farm owner significant financial earnings in ten-years period.
