Abstract

We reviewed the applicability of existing CIs, and compared and analyzed them for each dose distribution that resulted from treatment planning. CIs is applied to ten patients with prostate cancer who were treated with Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT).
It has been seen that existing CI formulas were neither sufficient nor applicable under all possible dose distributions. Some CIs only take into account the irradiation of healthy tissues, whereas others solely consider irradiation of the tumor
